i think this is controversial, and probably will be hotly debated, provided the thread isn't immediately locked and all posters aren't banned.

i've heard plenty of people complain on other sites about how mods on this site abuse their power regularly. and i wouldn't normally agree; normally Zilvia is a well-oiled hate machine, killing off idiots before they can ruin too many threads. most of these whiners are people who don't understand that the internet isn't real life.

on to the point.

this forum member was banned. for three months. because he thinks the Sunny D logo looks like a penis, and wanted to bring this to the light of day.

this is like when they got Al Capone for tax evasion. BustedS13 is banned all summer. the guy who was working to set up the midwest leg of the National 240SX Convention caravan is banned until after the convention.

and seriously. the S is the balls and the D is the head. anybody can see it.



and if you do decide to ban me, and i'm sure you will. at least leave the thread open so people can hotly debate this controversial subject.

please, excuse me if i'm mistaken, but what i'm gathering here is that the subject of the thread in question was, in your opinion, in fact controversial and therefore within the subforum guidelines?

I think he could have worded the title of the thread a bit differently, such as 'controversial pictures thread' or something along those lines. blatantly stating that it looks like one (+ other logos that were non existent), then possibly it could have stayed? i don't know. just my thoughts.

it does look like a penis. and i agree with enkei2k he may have just worded the title weird so instead of looking like a thread to post controversial logos it looked more like it was just a random "lol look what i found" thread.

maybe the mod just thought it was more of an off-topic thread?

If that was the reason, i think it was harsh.
Half the topics in loud noises dont technically fit the criteria anyhow.
The most it deserved was having the thread locked and/or moved.

I dont disagree with most of the pinkings, but banning is something else.
This site isnt going to be any fun if its taken too seriously.

I don’t think it’s the first time that guy has been in trouble though. The title could have been worded in a different way and more of a description of why he thought what he thought.

3 months might be harsh but after the 3 months are up he might have a different prospective on how zilvia works.

The best thing would have been to PM Mods or Admins to discuss it. To make a new post in Loud Noises acting like another person is not the way to go about it.
