So I recently got my rims(finally). They are the Enkei RP-01 Black with blue lip. VERY rare JDM rims. I'm glad I didn't have to do a 5-lug swap just so I could get some sweet rims. Anyways, other than the Enkei's I've got a Greddy Trust Catback, Injen Short Ram Intake, Tein S-Tech Springs, OEM JDM/EDM sidemarkers(also a pretty rare thing to see on S14's), JDM Silvia Grill, window tint, Sony Exploid head unit, and Pioneer speakers in front and back. I will be getting headers this coming week as well. I don't have a real digi-cam just one of those cheap $10 ones so I won't be able to post "real" pics until my friend stops being gay and lets me borrow his camera. I'll also try to get a group pic of my friends and our little crew of imports- 2 NA Supra's, 1 TT Widebody Supra, S2000, and of course my S14. We always chill but never bring the damn camera haha.

Anyways here, I just took a few quick snaps in front of my house today, let me know what you think. If you wanna flame thats cool, I won't take offense since I like what I've done with my car. Constructive critisicm is welcomed, I've got alot of plans, just waiting for the funds to save up again so if you have any recommendations feel free to drop them. Oh, I do want to know if you guys think I should get a paint job. Sometimes I like my color, other times I hate it. What do you think? I've always loved black(yeah yeah i know it's common).

Yeah, some people don't like the blue lip contrast on the ruby red, but it looks sweet IMO.

95KoukiS14- Sorry, but I hate the Super Advans. I could have got a set of those for about the same as a I paid for the Enkei's but I hate the 3-spoke style. The matching lip is nice, and if they were 5 spoke I would be all over them.

I like them, but not with that color. With a darker paint color, the rims would be awesome, but right now, they seem like black holes in whe wheel wells.

Yes your color does kind of suck, but it would look much better if you didnt have the random sidemarker, those wheels, 5 lug, and a decent suspension setup, but thats my opinion. Sersiouly though get rid of the sidemarker, its very volkswagen.

Enkei RP-01s are not rare at all, they sold heavily in the US a few years back through Discount Tire. Size/offset is weak, but they're better than OE at least.

Sidemarker is hideous, especially combined with the existing one in the bumper. Too much orange. I'd ditch both.

You will not being getting 'headers' next week either, you don't have a V6/V8.

muahaha... I guess I have a very unique sense of likes and dislikes. The sidemarkers aren't "random" they are the OEM sidemarkers on the Nissan Silvia(200sx) in Europe and they are OEM on the S15's as well(from what I have seen). I like rare items, and have always been a fan of "jdm" sidemarkers from my honda/acura days so when I found them I was pretty happy. I'm going to paint my headlight corners amber/orange matching too as well as the bumper lights to match everything so that should make things look alot better, unless of course you hate the whole amber/orange jdm thing which I have noticed quite a few of 240 owners do.

To be honest, I just don't see the need to spend $300-$500 just for 5-lug when there are wheels that look good in 4-lug(just not as many), especially when you are on a college budget. For suspension setup, coilovers would be sweet, but again, they are very expensive and since I don't really drift anyways, the Tein lowering springs gave me what I needed for the time being. Coilovers are on the "future plans" list.

Thanks for all the responses guys, at least I know my fellow 240 owners here in Zilvia are honest. Doesn't mean I'm going to take things off my car that I like hehe, but I do appreciate the honest feedback. I'll post pics with my friends real digi cam sometime this week or weekend, hopefully with a little group shot.

In Euro....they have the sidemarkers....BUT....they do not have one on the bumper. I would say its best to take off the one on the bumper...but I don't know if its deemed a failed inspection for safety in your state. Also you might want some Euro Kouki S14 turn signals...but then again its cheaper to just paint them (as you already mentioned).

Did you buy them from that guy on zilvia?
I hope you didnt pay too much, IIRC wheelchoice was selling them for ~$700 a set?

Now RP-01 in a fat size and low offset, that is rare, and very sick in any color.

Like I said, I don't take offense to flamers, to each-his own. There's tons of cars on Zilvia that I think look like trash but other people love and visa versa. I guess being different is not the way to go when modding an S14. Everyone should just get 5 lug swap and get FNO1-R's haha.

Oh and no I didn't get them from the guy on Zilvia. Hmm.. I checked their site and didn't see that color combintion from them, but I saw them in silver. Everyone who has seen them in person loves them, I guess pics make them look bad.

On another note, I picked up my header today from Megan Racing. Anyone know a shop that will install for *CHEAP*? hehe

- Header DIY (cheap and easy. get your car club together make a day of it. It'll be fun, trust me.)

- Side markers, gota go, they suck (sorry) look at mine there cool, but I have no idea how you can get them so don't ask.

All this is just what I think about your car and for you, I think you'll be okay when you realize that most of us here aren’t Honda people and you are. Silvia grill, ugly side markers, silly rims, after market springs on stock struts (very Honda rice boy move by the way) and you listed window tint as a mod, that’s just ridiculous. See what you could have done was insted of droping all that money on things you didn't need you could have got some struts/shocks, see that would have been cool IMO. If you want people to look at you car and kiss your ass get a cardomain site. Or keep up with your car club they like your car.
