Trunk Adjustments
The Deck lip or Trunk wont stay open on my s14. I have a base model which has a factory style spoiler. I believe there is a way to increase the tension on the trunk rod spring but cannot find any info in the service manual. Please Help me. AGAIN THIS IS ONLY A THREAD FOR 95-98 s14. no hatch back alowed

Relax, people don't live on here.
You need the torsion springs from an SE car, they're not adjustable. The SE models have a tighter bend in them for more tension.

Nissan is wrong. I've cut up over three dozen S14s, base and SE. There is a difference.
Wait, Nissan isn't wrong, your local parts guy is: http://www.courtesyparts.com/betasit...3691_3826_3840 Two part numbers, one with spoiler, one without. Shit, imagine that.
