s14 Frist time at the strip w/ my s14

Well I went on saturday to the drag strip. This was at Beaver Springs Drag Strip. A local shop out of Dillsburg (Dynamics Motorsports) Rented the track. You could make as many passes as you felt like for 30bucks. All in all I had an impressive day, being the second fastest street car their. I made around 13 to 15 passes, I'll post up my best with stock boost, low boost, high boost. Didn't play with tires at all, should have dropped the air pressure, totally foregot about doing that. I had 17's on the front with brand new kuhmo escta's 215/40's 17's on the back I had the stock 16's with like 38lbs of air in. On the reaction time, a perfect is zero's across the board.

Temp. was around 78degrees.

I'm going to be going back to the track next month, but i'll have a Greddy intake manifold on and have the cat, taken out and have a 3'' piece of pipe put in and have my 550cc Nismo injectors on with a z32 MAF.

Yep, it was my first time, with my S14. when I went up I made sure, to burn out in the water, get about two full rotations with the tires in the water, and make sure you reach second gear. Then stop really quick, and burn out a lil' again to get the water off.

if you're running on street tires try to avoid the water completely and just do a little burnout to get any stuff off ur tires before you make ur pass,,, that will help your 60ft time a lot I think.

if your running street tires, burning out only makes them grip less, and running 38 psi cold doesnt help much either, your 60 ft shows just that,

its still a good idea to do a quick spin to get any crap off ur tires,

Also to help with launches, pull off the front sway bar next time you go to the track,
