Dorkidori, one of the main reason the GTR is so damn perfect and fast is because of this tranny. IE it is fool proof.

i consider it manual, since YOU decide when you shift.

it just shifts fast and perfect like an auto, WHEN you tell it to.


the only drawback is that you can't do things like clutch kick, &c

Hey, if a computer can shift faster than me, then I'll probably just bow down to technology and enjoy it w/o the H pattern.
Sadly I haven't done much research into the trans but from what you speak of drift freaq I'm glad you gave ppl like me some technical info. I had no idea that it was that advanced of an 'automatic' trans, so I thank you for that.

In a perfect world though, we would have a skyline with an H pattern and paddle shifts.... and lower gas prices/renewable fuel.
I wonder if there is a bump shift feature on the shifter stick... (goes to google lol)
