my budget sleepy eye conversion
here's my crack at. i'll try to get better pics this week. w/ them on.
get 4 of these from the junk yard pontiac bonner-ville is a good spot. all on the fire wall. and are sealed. the bottom of the relay connector should be a 4 wire like this. color of wires mean nothing. make a cardboard template, cut out of metal and spot weld onto the bare headlight cage. after which measure out where you want the lights to sit. after words this is how the lights will hang. then raise the cage for wiring. right behind the cage on the core support is a great location for the light and relay ground. wiring relay, yes it is that simple. here i started wiring up the relay. the spade in the factory harness is low beam. the one to the left is the high beam. this was the first attempt at placement and relised i needed to push the light closed to the front. after a few slight adjustments. this was the out come. sorry for the crappy cell pics. but im still doing a lot to the car right now. in the next month of so i will post up more pics of everything i have done. ~skott b |
