Sad part is most the reply's on there are good. I guess if that is what the guy wanted, well thats what he got. I sure hope the body shop that pieced that together comes foward so i know not to goto them, the kit does'nt even line up. And thank god for the spoiler on the back, it needs the downforce at the high speeds it can go. Atleast they put a B18 engine in it, of course the added weight off all that crap completly negated the effects of the engine swap I'm alittle more ashamed of driving an import

but but. . . What in there gives him performance? I'm not a big Honda guy, so I don't know the specs of the b18a engine. All I could see was "make my car pretty" stuff, which I consider a waste of valuable cash which could be spent on horsepower. . . Though, it IS a Honda, that big heavy wing prolly gets him about 20 extra hp, and lord knows how fast those clear taillights and bitchin' paint get him

My friend is an avid Honda guy. A b16a engine is an engine from a vtec honda del sol. b18a is an acura integra rs/ls block. Dunno the specs on the b16, but the b18a has 135ft/lbs torque and 140 hp.

b16a is also the engine from the VTEC Civic SiR
my friend is putting one into his 91 integra ls(i think it's ls...)... i figure that since i'm a Nissan boy, might as well know the competition... i'm getting lazy lately.. need to do more research... |

I use to like the Honda tunning tread, it just geting abit too popular, the true enthusiast are hard to find.......i mean i can't distinguish the avid motorsport entusiast from the " jump on the bandwagon" type. I see, more and more people with hooked up hondas, most just look "pretty", but there are some that are all about speed, which i do commend. Anyways, Those are some reasons i choose the venerable 240. Don't you agree.........? I know ya do=)

Psssh, no.
We like our 240s 'cause they're slow and hard to find parts for |

Tha b18c in my friends 95 GSR is factory rated at 170hp
and another one my friends have 99 Civic Si with a B16a which is rated 160hp factory. Both pushing well over 200 now. The problem with those cars is torque. Their cars are crazy built but no matter what the Hondas have, none of them are as fun to drive as a rear-wheel drive Ka, mine is unfortunatly still stock but still doesn't feel as sluggish on the bottem end. |

You're right BlueEyes, Honda's have diminutive torque numbers...I've always affectionately called them the torqueless wonders.:) Really the only Honda that interests me is the Integra GS-R or the ITR. The Civic Si is decent, but 111 lb.-ft. of torque is just sad. Of course 128 for the GS-R isn't great, but 111? Anyway, what I do like about Hondas is the top end. There is no power drop off on a Honda VTEC engine...it pulls all the way to and past redline...something I wish our KA's did. But at least we have the low end to make up for it.
About the pics, I don't mind the wild body kits, paint job, big rims, etc. so much as long as it looks HALF decent and they actually put the thing in shows. I figure it's just a different outlet for an interest in cars...you can show it, race it, or blast eardrums with your system...whatever you like to do--to each his own, I guess. The ones that get on my nerves are the sticker claden, wipers/trim painted different colors, tin can on 1" exhaust piping, just plain nasty looking rice-mobiles. |

like the body kit (hey, if i had a honda, i'd get a body kit to fix those lines too).
hate the white wheels. hate the stickers. would've been better if he had painted it metallic blue instead of purple |
