I am wondering why you have to use all the 93 DOHC S13 KA stuff when swapping a 95 obd1 DOHC S14 KA engine into a 89-90 chassis? Looking for specifics not just, it's easier. Thanks

Is this an oil sandwich plate or a remote oil filter relocation mount?
theres a very big threaded hole on it's side...took pics of it on both sides Thanks in advance to all helpers! |

This is an oil sandwhich block. I wasn't aware that Nismo made an oil filter block for our cars. I'm pretty sure that block would be for a G35 or 370Z. It looks like it's missing three pieces. You need the oil filter adapter piece that slides through the center, a cap for the open port, and a rubber o-ring to sit inside the circular slot in the last picture. If you get it, make sure it fits the M20 size which is what the majority of the SR20s use (My SR uses a M19, but I purchased the Tomei N2 Adapter instead.), as well as KAs.

When you run an oil filter relocation kit and/or oil cooler do you have to put more oil in than normal to compensate for more volume?

Yes......but for how much more oil depends on length of the line you ran to relocate & size of oil cooler. (usually about another quart of oil)

Correct. That block does not relocate the oil filter. It only provides you an option to run an oil cooler. |

You should use the BMC that was meant for those brakes. 17/16" Z32 BMC.

Have your friend press and hold the brake as far and firmly as he can. He'll need to do this for at least 3 mins, depending on how long you take. You will need, if I recall correctly, an 8mm wrench and pliers. You'll know what tools you need to adjust the brake booster accordingly. With your BMC removed, and your friend firmly pressing the pedal, a small shaft will poke out of the brake booster. That is what you adjust. Unscrew it to increase braking force into the BMC; and vice versa. |

Enjuku racing sells the german ones but IIRC they are not 100% clear. Anyone use a threaded gm intake air temp sensor? I need to know an application or a part number. |

Question...so one of the nuts that goes on the top of the one of the 3 studs, on the camber plate, is stuck. This is for an s13, cusco comp-s coils.
It spins in place, and no matter how many times i turn it, it neither moves up nor down. Any ideas as to why this is happening? |

I need help picking out what size of rod bearings I need. I want cosworth, but I'm going to get my crank polished. So would I need a size zero? Size one is standard.

Just a quick question.. I've tried searching, but it hasn't led me specifically to my answer.
So, for an auto to 5speed KA24DE swap, would I still be able to use the automatic engine? If so, what problems would it cause, and would I only be able to shift up to fourth gear? I've read the faqs and write ups, but I didn't read anything about swapping in an engine originally from a manual. Thanks a bunch.
