95 240sx Power Window Amp-where to buy?...
Hi all,
Just wondering where we can get one of these that will not cost us an arm and a leg... Checked the dealership and they wan $150 plus another 200 for labor... no thanks. This is what it says on the amp: AMP AUTO P/WDW 28515 70F00 ET80 030 12V 55H JIDECO 55H So if anyone has any ideas, please let me know!! Thanks |

If you are sure that it is just the amp, either find one from a 95 S14, or go to junkyard and take one off from the S13. The mount is a little different, but they work the same with the same plug.

Yes, I realize it's a very old thread (Sorry!)

As the title says, yes I realize that this is a very old thread. Sorry However, I do have a question about the P/W Amp on a 95 240sx: What's the best way to test these? I have all my diagrams, but I'm kinda stuck. Thanks, D.K. |

Simplest way I've found to test is to push the cable in as you're holding the switch. If it works, you have a bad solder joint. If it doesn't look else where. Another way is to hold the switch and pull the door towards to really hard to kickstart the motor.
