Clearance Issues
Yesterday I was installing an AEM intake and KOYO radiator into my s13 KA24DE. As I am doing so I noticed that the intake pipe is resting against the KOYO radiator making it hard to clear the clutch fan. I know I can always get an electric fan but time is of the essence and I still have to smog it...
Has anybody ran this setup and have any solutions? Thanks. |

I run an AEM and it rests against the top corner of my aluminum meghan 2 row radiator. do you have the intake pipe mount bolted up to your top radiator mount? If so, try unbolting that letting the MAF mount carry the weight and shift the pipe out a bit till its in the position I'm describing. Mine has plenty of clearance and sits there quite stably with no shifting of parts I can see. but the rad mount doesnt even come close to lining up on the pipe. I had it like this under a zenki front end and it works the same now under my silvia front end. Hope this helps, good luck.
