Driveshaft Issues

I've searched and read a ton of posts but this doesn't make any sense.
It's a S14 with a s13black top sr20det with an ABS Diff that was welded. It has the plug on the noes of the diff for the sensor.

Ordered the steel one piece driveshaft from DSS for a S14 with ABS

Went to install it and it was about an inch too short, now from what I've read the ABS s14 driveshaft is shorter than the non-ABS s14 driveshaft. What doesn't make sense is I have an ABS diff but the driveshaft is still to short.

I believe the car used to be auto and was converted to 5spd
