hype? what hype?

all i've seen is a humorous add, no tests, haven't seen ANYONE with one, never read a thing about it, and never heard anybody talk about it. if you ask me, if the thing was any good at all, i'd have heard about it.

in conclusion......good concept, bad execution.

I can assure you they are loud as hell on a honda Civic Si (a guy who sometimes autoxes around here has one). But even if it did work, would you really put an "interfooler" on your car? And second, do you trust the brand "Arospeed"?

lol, Anyway, they actually do work, but form what I have heard not any better than an AEM cai, plus your throttle response is not as good b/c of the extra long piping required.

EDIT: oh, I forgot, Arospeed sucks!

yeah, i guess it'd probably be a bad idea to buy something from a company that makes most of it's money off spoilers and exhaust control valves. so be it, i'll just get the Injen.

one of the biggest reasons why it sucks ass (other than cause it's by arospeed) is cause since it is front mount, people had problems getting water in really easy on rainy days. Also, small pebbles and such thrown from other cars ahead ripped through the filter or leaves got stuck and restricted air flow...etc.

And not to mention that it's wanna be intercooler

so having a very short pipe, like say, the maf and filter coming directly out of the throttle body will increase the response of the throttle?
