s13 5 lug conversion W/ s14 front hubs?

I am just checking to make sure that I am not crazy, becuase I was just told that a s14 5 lug hub will fit on a s13 front spindle. Now I have already done this swap using the s14 front spindle and everything is beautiful, but I couldn't believe my ears when this person told me that the s14 5 lug would work. I thought that the s14 spindle was larger then the s13's. Am I crazy

Tell that person to burn in hell. He's wrong.

The hub will slide on to the spindle fine, but the bearing doesn't seat right and will not work correctly. I'm sure he's not worried about correct fitment, he's the guy who says if you can get two turns on a wheel stud you're safe, or if the fuel hose fits tight on the rail you don't need a clamp.

but as he said the bearing doesn't seat properly. the s14 hub has a little larger inside diameter so it will probably cause it to fail faster than normal.
