while driving, it shifts like normal into 1st and 2nd, but when it gets to 3rd, it just revs very high and gives almost no speed. I've looked up many forums and threads and tried them but nothing worked so far.
I drive a 1993 240sx HB

sounds like the torque converter is going out...
