And keep an out for old cheep civic or something.Any help at all would be much appreciated , thanks for looking.
I can pass on more info though pm's if there's anybody really interested in helping me, like the address of the company that ill be working for, to give you idea where ill be commuting too and from . Thanks again. |

HAHA I'm from near Brighton, Sussex so I'm fully aware of how "Great" Britain is doing.
I work for a trucking company and we have a fair few Brits working here. That address is SE Calgary, probably in the industrial part of the city, Calgary has a fairly decent public transport service so you should be able to get around OK till you find a car. |

Calgary Apartments for Rent, Calgary Apartment Rentals, Apartments for Rent in Edmonton - RentFaster.ca is what I use for my accomodations
Your work location may not have any bus routes going to and from simply because of how out it is haha. btw there are many cheap civics to be had for <500$ on kijiji so best of luck and keep asking questions, we will try to answer them the best we can |

looks like you'll be working for tarpon.
good company. My friend used to work there as an electrician some years ago. its really gonna suck for you if you have no car. its about 10 mins out from any neighborhood. living will be on the cheaper side if you want top live close to work as well. the east side of calgary is the older, more run down part of the city. I wish i could offer you a room of some sort but i dont know of anyone renting or having any room in the house. good luck to ya rico ! |

Hey Rico I'd say for a phone company either go with Rogers or telus they've never been to bad for me. I've been with telus for about 8 years and there a good understanding company with decent rates all depending on what options you want on your phone. For example I have a iPhone 4S with everything on it call display, voicemail, 10gigs data and 1000 anytime minutes and evenings and weekends free and evenings start at 5 or 6 can't remember. Any way hope that helps ya out a bit. Oh and like previous people have said looking on kijiji Calgary will help you find a car and a room for rent.

I got a Toyota Previa, maybe Estima in your area haha just needs a driver wiper, a boost (maybe a battery) and a mattress in the back and your set! haha
Tarpon should be good for you, lots of welders required here if you know how to weld that's for sure! |

Cheers for the reply dude. I'm just on the look out for something cheep and cheer full for the moment. I'm surprised with the amount of jap cars I seen here all ready, within 48hrs. An Gray R32 , right hand drive civic, plus an sil80. I was going to see if the sil80 was for sale, but didn't have time to go in.
Yea tarpon is alright, great people over there. There seem's to be a shortage of welders here they were saying. I just hope everything works out. Im Still looking for a place to live. |
