If it helps for my build I have a AEM ecu, AEM electronic boost controller, and UEGO wideband. GT28 turbo wirh an HKS external wastegate. Like I said it ran with the old motor though and it had everything on it then too.

what have you checked? It could be a power of ground to the ecu, bad harness, coilpacks, missed the grounds for the injectors or coilpacks, ect ect ect.

Pull the fuel rail and check to see if the injectors are spraying. Make sure that you either do, or do not have fuel.

I also have not a clue as to what reading I ahould be getting from them. Any info you guys have is gonna help me out. I'm new to the import scene

Your kidding! on a serious note. Check the grounds behind the boost intake near the firewall. I bet you forgot to bolt em on.

I have the injector ground on the side of the head and the block ground on the firewall. Do I need to move the injectors ground?

That should be OK. Check the 5v wire at tps to make sure the ecu is sending out voltage. Also check it at coils. Its probably going to be something easy though

Ok so I have spark, I pulled the rail and it was full of fuel. Connected my other dizzy to the plug and spun it by hand but only got rhen pump to prime, never heard injectors click or saw even the slightest bubble. I stuck my test light on them and there is power....... I've never been so stumped lol what do I need to do to check the voltage. Also my tps sensor is working. I checked it with the calibration on AEM Pro.

Dude, turn the key and see if the injectors are spraying. You can't turn the CAS by hand and expect something spectacular to happen.

I did and nothing happened then either. Spun it by hand so I could listen for clicks before I pulled the fuel lines

Ok so I jumped my injectors to make sure there was not one stuck. Laptop is showing good injector pulse.
I swapped back to the original dizzy but I think I'm out of time. It sounded like it was trying to fire on the exhaust stroke. Guess I need to restab and hope I don't have a trashed motor

There could only be one of 3 solutions...

#1, the PO sold you a very fucked up motor.
#2, you don't know what you're doing.
#3, your standalone is trash.

I'm going to side w/ either #1, or maybe #2. There might be more of a reason why the motor sat around for 5 years.

Have you thought about buying an OEM ECU and trying things OEM style?

Ok so after reseting the timing, I have no fuel on my plugs again and my spark seems very weak. What's the verdict fellas, CAS? Grounds are all brand new wire and connectors now.

You have a weak spark because you're sitting there running your battery down, I'd expect....

One way or another, sounds like an injector issue - and no, they're not all bad.

Are your settings correct for ignition, pickup, and sensors on the AEM main setup page?

My only issue is the fuel. I don't know what I'm doing just kind of learning as I go that why I'm asiing for you guys help. The motor has 135-138psi. Compression across all 4 and the standalone ran the old motorbefore Iraq detonated. It has sat so long because he was working 2 jobs and going through. The D word. I think it is a wiring issue but I wanted to check everything I could before running down wires. I'm coming from an old school Chevy to this so I am way outta my relm.
