Wiring gremlins.
SO.
For starters... my name is Dana, I'm new to the forum. I have a s13 (hatch) its an SOHC and also an SE (yeah i got that fancy shit and leather) This is my first car. For the past year and a half I've been trying to fix my main interior harness. It melted. I have abouttttt 4 harness I can't do shit with. About a week or two ago I finally got tired of asking other people so I took it upon myself to go pull a harness out at a junkyard. I pulled it out of a base model. Turns out the blue plugs my friend thought might be for interior lights actually control the power locks/windows. I asked several people if having an SE made a difference and was told no. WELL IT DOES. And if I'm not mistaken, this one has plugs that dont go to anything in my car. I dont know what to do. I can't seem to track down an SOHC harness let alone one for an SE. Half the people I talk to send me parts that aren't correct because from what I understand not many people know shit about shit about wiring. So I'd like to talk to someone who does. Or even someone who knows anyone parting out an SOHC SE. I will buy the harness off of you, or trade all the other harnesses I have for it. At this point I really dont care what goes down. I'm open for suggestions.

try asking in the want to buy section to see if any one is selling a harness. Also check this online Factory Service manual. 1989-1990 240SX Factory Service Manual

I have a full service manual, its not really useful for this area because I know how to put it in I just dont have the right harness. If I could make the base model SOHC harness work I'd use it. But like I said I really dont know how to wire things up like that.
