Which harness for a Z32 ECU on RB25 motor?

I posted a similar thread on another subsection but I haven't got a single hit, thought this section might be a bit livelier.

I've seen many people use the Z32 ECU to run an RB25 with better results than the RB25 ECU. I am considering putting an S2 RB25 into a Z32 shell, so it's even better for me to run a Z32 ECU, so the body harness stuff plugs right in.

Anyways, my question is which new harness do I buy? Do I buy an RB25 harness with the Z32 ECU plug on it, or do I buy a Z32 harness and just connect the proper wires to the proper sensor on the RB25 motor?

z32 ecu would have issues due to z32 having 2 o2 sensors where rb25 only has one sensor. you might want to look into using a maxima ecu and no wiring is involved with that ecu. its plug and play, just has to be tuned for rb25. hope this helps.

I've read Nistune's walkthrough on modifying the Z32 ECU to be prepped for RB25 signals. Patching the O2 circuits together, modifying the fuel temp sensor circuit, etc.

Because I am putting it into a Z32 as the op said, that way everything plugs right in. Plus, having a tt Z32, I know tons of Z32 guys with parts to sell and already got one on it's way for $65.

Not quite sure what you mean but the ecu plugs into engine harness and nothing else so it doesn't matter what ecu (rb25 or z32 or maxima) you use.

Currently researching a lot about this, im gonna be using a Stagea NEO Rb25 with a Z32 ecu, so far my understanding is, Z32 + R33 Engine loom (S2 Rb25 Wiring loom if im not mistaken) will work perfectly by following Nistune's guide if its a S2 RB25. The S1 Rb25s i havent read much about them, should research if you have one of those.

I even matched each ECU pin from both pinouts (R33 RB, Z32)and arrived at the same steps as Nistune indicates.

You use the R33 harness and you repin the firing order signals for coils and injector pulses. The 02 signal back is split, simple repinning.
