It could need new rings, valves or valve job, bad gasket some where. . .
Did you have the head checked out before you assembled the engine?

A problem that I have noticed with BC cams is that they were not designed on the proper centerlines for just a drop in situation. You need to cam gears to play with them. My favorite cam for "just drop straight in and make great power" is by far the Jim Wolf S4's

You have to run right on the ragged edge of timing (on 93) to hit 300 rwhp with only ~16 psi up top on a T28 and no cams. If you can hold 18 psi up top then 300 or more is pretty easy.
I'm thinking they left a little bit on the table, but this is a good thing. "Really high" numbers for a given boost and a jagged power delivery line mean you're getting phantom knock. Engine might last like that, or it might knock a little bit more on a hot day and smoke a ring, it's a gamble. I've seen a few dynos on here that look like they kept adding timing in until the motor stopped making more power, which is not the safest thing to do on pump gas without carefully monitoring the knock sensor, and most shops don't do that. FWIW, I made 300rwhp/275-280rwtq at 16 psi on my GT2560R(T28) with stock cams and a FReddy intake mani. I normally took a degree of timing off in boost for street driving, and another degree off at the track and lower boost for safety. |

I would drain and refil with new coolant just to make sure that it's still semi sealing correctly and it's not mixing water with your oil.

^^^seriously....
what are all you retards shouting "headgasket" at this guy for when you have no fucking Idea. more than likely it needs a valve job, but needs a leakdown test done to verify. |
