s13 What battery for s13 with FMIC???

I just wanted to see if most people relocated the battery to the trunk, or just went with the small batteries when they install a FMIC, and what batteries fit there? I have a 91 hatch, sr with a greddy FMIC.

Miata battery.

Fits perfectly between the lip on the metal battery tray and the FMIC piping.

Yup a miata battery.

I forgot what brand I got.

It's a dry cell though.

I dont see any problem relocating your battery to the trunk if you use the right wires and the right box to secure the battery. Or you can just use a miata battery, i hear some CRX batteries work too.

I tried the CRX or Civic batter, I don't remember exactly what the "number code" for them is, but it's something like a 54R or something.

R is not for Type-R, but like, reversed poles or something (where the positive is on the opposite side of the battery as opposed to the normal battery or something like that).

Anywho, that battery was too big by like, a 1/4" or something, so it didn't really fit.

The Miata battery, however, was a perfect fit.
