crank balancing
okay so im taking block design class ATM and i need to do a crank balancing. i always thought that inline cranks never have to use bob weights to balance the crank like V engines do. when i was trying to balance the crank, the machine ask me for bob weights .... does anyone know if inline cranks have to use bob weights?
(i also have to write an essay about this now too) :sigh: Thanks in advance -Sunny D.- |

I dont have any experience with engine design, but I have always been told that inline 6 engines are inherently balanced very well so I dont believe they need bob weights. Could 100% be wrong but thats what I can tell you
