Tried searching but for some reason the function wasn't working..
I've seen the videos on YouTube of em and what not but I wanted to know from people who have experience with this, in actual track days and multiple vehicles.
Is it possible to drift decently in a stock sr20?
Bought mine with no intention of going to events but through a little searching I've found a good 3 tracks within 4-5 hours of me so wouldn't mind making the trip, but only if I could actually have fun.

Before you get a hard time from someone else, Yes you can have plenty of fun with a stock sr, just takes practice so take it to the track!

Stock SR is best. no tuning issues, something brakes, just replace with OEM parts.

Honestly, I drifted on my stock SR for 3 solid years with very minimal maintenance on the engine. Of course don't cheap out on parts for the engine if anything brakes. I did oil change and spark plug changes for those 3 years, and always did me good.

I'm on a pretty limited budget as I'm trying to get the car to the shop and do the body/paint work currently, but I want to tinker with her a little bit..
Is a Q45 tb, with matching mm intake mani going to do anything for me on basically a stock platform? It does have a full 3" hks exhaust and Megan 3 turbo elbow, so I figured if I just open up the intake side of things I should be heading in the right direction..(car also has aftermarket inter cooler and piping if that matters)
The Q45 seems awfully big though but I want something so if I'm gonna throw money at it I can keep it and re use it as I build the car more

Q45 TB, no. Your best bet is crank the boost up and tune it. I'm assuming it already has an front mount intercooler and an upgraded fuel pump.

Alright that's kinda what I figured..
Yeah it's got an xs power intercooler up front, but couldn't tell ya if they did anything to the fuel pump, what would you recommend? Also for a tune, can the stock ecu be flashed and tuned that way or do I need an aftermarket ecu?
New to the 240s, don't really know much about the technical stuff just yet.

walbro 255 and enthalpy ecu should keep you straight.

Sweet thanks, I had been looking at that tune before too on the enjuku site, another question about that though; I've got a 95 240 with a s13 blacktop/ecu in it, so I'm guessing I would need to order the tune for the s13 sr20det then correct?
Also, my car is running pretty rich as it sits, this could possibly help that too right?
I'll search for some fuel pumps now too.
