Skullworks - Evo/STi Brembo Caliper Brackets
WHAT:
-------------------------------------------------- Adapter brackets to install Evo 8/9 or STi Brembo calipers on your s-chassis. It's bee a while coming but they're finally here a fully R&D bracket that allows you to bolt the popular Brembo calipers to your 240. We obtained a set of Evo and a set of STi Brembo calipers took them completly appart and measured every conceivable feature on them to ensure proper upright location, pad placement and rotor offset. They're made here in the USA by us and test fitted on our cars. FEATURES: ------------------------------------------- - CNCd from 1018 Carbon Steel for strength - Zinc plated to withstand corrosion - 10.9 (Grade 8 equivalent) bolts and washers included for ease of installation We choose these features to ensure that the brackets will withstand the rigors of track use without compromise to safety. PRICE AND PAYMENT: ------------------------------------------------------ The price for these is $110 wich includes paypal and shipping fees. They will ship via US Priority Mail so it will take roughly 3-5 business days to get to you. paypal: stmaradona at yahoo dot com please include your username with your payment message. NOTES: ---------------------------------------------- As some of you may know, we started on these a few months back then stalled... and stalled... and stalled some more here's why: in order to clear the calipers back fins there needs to be a relief on the bracket around the upright threaded holes. Most of the existing brackets floating around do it this way. We weren't comfortable with this since we feel that by doing that the strength of the inner hole threads is compromised. This could be catastrophic to someone that heavily tracks his car. After much deliberating, we asked ourselves the question: What would we do if these were just for ourselves? We'd shave the back of the caliper and keep the threads on the bracket intact. So in a nutshell that's what we did. So you will need to shave your calipers down a bit (see pictures) to run our brackets. We are aware that some people will be turned off by this and will choose to go a different route. We're ok with that. The way we see it, at the end of the day it's about doing something right. Questions, concerns and comments are always welcomed.
