I think I've locked in the paintwork within 2 weeks finally. Once painted, the car will be put back on stands and then underbody restore will commence. All suspension will be disassembled, sand blasted, powder coated and be installed with Nismo bushes in them. I'm currently at a crossroads with this car. I'm in a state currently where I can afford to buy an R34 GT-R (my all time dream car) but only have 2 garage spaces. I'm looking into putting a 4 point hoist in so I can put the VZ-R up in the air and the S14 underneath, with the GT-R in the next spot over. If I can't get a hoist in... This 14 may be for sale... Who knows, one step at a time. Also have an S13 drift car which I might made a build thread for soon.. not sure what I'm doing with it. |

Life happened again, just waiting for the paint shop to arrange a time to fit my car in. Here's a sorta photo dump in the mean time.
Had me T28 BB refurbished, literally looks brand new. HKS 256 (stage 1) cams for the S14 SR. Should be sufficient with what i want to do with the car In the mean time, started to work on my drift car finally. Should i make a seperate build thread for this? I don't know. Feel like its been done 509285 times and people are probably sick of seeing the same shit. anyways Painted the engine bay in my garage as practise, this car is nowhere near mint and i'll try to not treat it like that, i promise. Its got widebody front and rear guards, BN? fibreglass front bumper, Cusco Coilovers, Cusco front + rear strut bar. I've got an RB20DET to go into this, ordered heaps of misc stuff (radiator + Fan shroud setup, steering rack bush, + more), R32 GT-R brakes and new rotors. Got to see one of my favourite R34's again. I'll own you one day. |

Thank you, wish i could update more frequently but life is really grasping me pretty hard atm.

Not much has been happening lately, had a nose operation a month ago and wasn't able to lift anything in the event of bursting open my stitches - so nothing really has happened in terms of the S14. S13 though - Bought a interior fire'd R34 GT-T RB25DET Manual wreck from a local auction house. Ripped out the RB and everything still good from the car over the last 3 days. Need to replace the engine loom, coil pack loom and 1 coil pack. Have already sourced all of that plus Spitfire coilpacks for that little bit of reliability and peace of mind. Can't wait to be hitting limiter with a 3" Straight piped Neo RB, isn't a better sounding engine out there. Painted the brakes, have to paint the 2 pot rears i got from the skyline in the same colour for the dual-caliper rear end. meow |

Hey man are you still looking for some LMGT2s there is a guy selling a set on driftworks.com forum they seem to be in pretty good condition just one of the center caps is missing the bronze rays logo shouldn't be a hard fix.

Thanks, Millennium Jade
Spot on. Piecing the car back together, got all the suspension off underneath and had it sent away to get sand blasted, powdercoated and the Nismo bushes pressed in. I'm going to go with aftermarket rear camber arms because of the wheels i want to run will need a couple degree's negative due to unrolled guards. No regrets Fallen in love with this colour, can't wait to take it outside. |

Progress?
The 270R 3 piece bumper fits really well for the amount of work that it needed Went to a local Japanese wrecker to pull out an immaculate dash (no photos, im sure you all know what a nice dash looks like) and a behind-dash wiring loom. When i got there i saw something quiet strange in the footwell... OLD LOGO NISMO PEDALS + Dead pedal. Okay, its not that exciting. But i absolutely love old logo Nismo parts no matter what it is. Got them for an absolute steal and polished them up to their former glory. Compulsory subframe bushes being burnt out photo |

All the underbody parts have come back from the powdercoaters. Looks amazing, super happy with the results.
New bosch alternator Another order from amayama.com, pretty much just door rubbers, bumpers, battery tray and a whole heap of brake line/fuel line/AC line clips. Windows are in too, the genuine Nissan moulds look amazing. Well worth the money if you're going to do the job properly. Sneaky optional shades Sat the bumper and headlights on to get a first look on how it's going to look, almost there! |

It's been a little, but as usual there's some progress.
Got married and spent 3 weeks in Japan and Thailand. Quick Snap from the day, Thanks again to Terry for giving me the opportunity to have his 3 N1 GTR's (R32, R33 and R34) as car's for my wedding. The Holy Trinity of Nissan. But anyways, back to this 14. Fuel tank cleaned, new E85 rated line installed aswell. ARC air guide acquired. So glad to have this. Only need an SR20DET VCT ARC spark plug cover now, so if any of you have one please let me buy it! Trail fitted the BNIB 365a wheel today. Changed up my plates for when its registered too, should be finished before christmas. Waiting for one last order from Amayama.com and then it should be good to go. Have to figure out wheel specs too.. going to order these. edit: Not sure why the photo quality is that bad. wow. |

Rebuilt brakes - New Hardware and OEM Nissan rebuilt kid
Spend a solid hour making an ARC stencil out of cardboard. Didn't turn out too bad. Dirty shed, dusty car. HEL Braided brake lines New door weatherstrip moulds and some misc parts. Bought an S15 to put my RB25DET Neo setup from the 13 into. The 13 is a little rusty and i can't really be bothered chasing it. If you're local to me, this roller is for sale. Actually took the time to read through this instead of keeping up with you on messenger. Just a few words about it honestly, so here it goes...
GOOD. FUCKING. JOB. MATE. Seeing this keeps me inspired to do stuff like this the correct way and spend the needed money on quality parts and not skip corners. Maybe once I get my sr20vet in mid 2020 that ARC plug cover will be up for you if you haven't found one yet. Keep up the good work mate. Been a pleasure to know you for these short years that I have. |

In all seriousness though. By the time my car is legal for import I would imagine that my sr20vet will be built and ready. As well as my rear subframe and suspension components. Trying to decide... I think instead of painting the bay black and the car a two tone... I'm going to leave it one color and match the bay with the H8R. Also when I pull out the sr20det I think I might as well go ahead and cure the undercarriage while I'm at it. Or go 110% and completely strip it and paint the entire car inside and out. We will see. |

I guess I've kinda finished this car. The only thing left to do is get wheels and another alignment. Other than that, not really much is left to do which sucks. Really enjoyed building this... I guess I can make the new S15 a little more cleaner. I'll update this thread if anything changes, but until then it will probably be radio silence. Cheers to everyone who commented, messaged or just spoke shit in person to keep the motivation fresh. Will have some professional photo's done in a couple weeks though. |
