screws on rear bumper

i've looked in the fsm online and it tells me what to remove, but not how to remove it!. I'm talking about the screwes that fasten the bumper to the car and are like surrounded by a plastic circular molding. You have to unscrew them in order to losen the clip or something, but to i pry out the clip? I keep turning the screw and it simply turns and i get nowhere.

Thanks

yeah pry them out, dont just leave them in. Also there are nuts you have to remove on the sides, you access them inside the trunk on the sides. Just put your hand down there and youll feel them.

Pry them out. Go ahead and bust the shit outta them, you don't need them anyway. The 2 upper mounts and bolts in the rear quarter panel are more than enough...

If you put a small flat-blade screwdriver under the plastic and push outward with it while lightly unscrewing the screw, it will come out. Works pretty good.

If the top of the clip is broken it won't come out without force.

Cut them and ziptie it.
