I have to get/meet up with Phlip and give him the $20 cash in exchange for him to send $20 through Paypal for the GB since I dont have Paypal. I havent really gotten too payment details yet. How would everyone feel about Personal Checks and that way there I can do bank transfer to Discount Tire Director or I can just pay for it all through my debit card. Either or? Give me opinions. If I can get ahold of Phlip tomorrow, expect it to start tomorrow and it will last for 14 days from the start day of the GB.

In regaurds of payment, as long as I get 10 initial purchases, it becomes a Open Buy after that.

does payment have to be in full for all 10+ sets?

if its ok with your DTD rep, you could have each person contact the rep and pay so that you don't have to deal with it...

I've dealed with DTD twice on the phone and both times I paid with a card... and it took less than 5 minutes. very easy...

also, will the wheels be shipping out directly from DTD? if so, expect your wheels super duper fast from them!!! awesome shipping time.

and you said the GB will last only 14 days from whenever you start... does that mean that after the 14 days, you won't be able to get that price, or your "vendor" status on zilvia will be void?

Vendor status will be void. I will still be able to get them for the price listed. They will be directly shipped from DTD. So you shouldnt have any delays. Only delay that may encounter is quantity.

As far as each person calling in, it would cut me out of my rims and money vested for the GB. GB isnt free and I have quite a bit of time getting the deal and making this happen.

dude.. in the time it took you to type out all your replies.. you could have made a paypal account.. its like setting up an new email.. just get paypal to make it an easy and smooth group buy.. IMO....

It would be a hell of a lot easier to open a paypal account so people could pay using any method. I can't remember the last time I wrote a check I think it was 2003 or something. Everything is digitial now.

your vendor status will not be editable but your group buy can stay open as long as its going. Trust me I know this.

uhh.. 10 sets of 17x9s would be $4,500.00.. almost there GA..

just get paypal.. the most youll have to pay in fees would be about $16..

Only reason I dont deal with Paypal anymore:

I had paypal a year and a half ago and was doing a group buy with a premier account. I was verified, 17 completed positive transactions and when I recieved all the money for the GB, my account was locked. They asked for a Bank statement, electric bill, photos of my id and pretty much wanted me to jump through hoops of fire. I wam not about to do all that when I found the site below. So I had to refund everyone there money for the GB, and my personal money was locked for 180 days and then I was able to transfer it out and had to close my account. I didnt do a thing wrong, they said I had recieved TOO much money in such little time they had to ask for more info. So I was like, you held $800 of my money for 180 days and cost me a GB. No thanks, after that bitter taste, I wont go back down that road.

For those who dont believe, heres a site I became a member of after I got jipped. www.Paypalsucks.com

Squidd can vouch for me, I traded him a Nardi for Turbo plus cash. I also just sold/traded RUCA's, feedback for this in the forum. Also I have done a deal or two with Phlip and hell, he is practically my neighboor. (Lives 10miles down the road.)

So thats why I dont deal with Paypal.

I hate usin paypal.. takes forever to get my money sent to my bank account, but there's no other online service to send money like paypal.
