Unhappy It sounds like a muscle car!

My KA24DE idles and runs like a muscle car and the it shakes like crazy. I had this problem before when it would do this when its cold out, and would go back to normal after its been warmed up for a few minutes. Now it just wont go away. I also feel a loss in power below 4K.. Anyone have an idea on what the problem is?

Is the car idling very low? That might cause some good shaking.. if it's idling normally, the shaking might mean dead motor mounts.

i have no clue about the power loss under 4k though..

make sure your car is in good tune... meaning.. when was the last tune up?

The RPM's are idling normal. Nope, its not running rich. I should try replacing the motor mounts, and get a tune up some time this week. Thanks guys. I'll update on this soon.

unplug your wires one at a time to see if theres any change, if there isnt a change for one cylinder, for that cylinder check the sparkplug, wire, and the injector

Check your timing while youre under the hood too... probably wont cause the whole problem, but in conjunction with other problems, it would make them worse...

Exactly what Sil40sx. I just had this problem with my KAE on Saturday. It didnt fix it completely but by changing the Plug in #1 helped a whole lot. Might have to try and check the Injector too. Thanks. *a

Check the plug wires, I had a bad one that would cut in and out.
