First of all, they charged $22 per person and kidd you not, it took 10 minutes to see every single car there. Only 2 nissans; a Skyline (pretty sure it was an R32) and a Z32 NA. The Skyline looked like it needed a wash, definetly not showcar material (How could anyone let a Skyline look like that?). The Z32 had a Sho-gun bodykit with silver/gray paint that didn't quite match the car and nothing except for a sound system in the trunk. That was it for the nissans. I saw Integras with absolutly nothing done to them and the best car I saw was a Lotus. Just wondering if anyone else went and felt the same. What a waste of money.
P.S. Sorry if any of you own those 2 cars.

Sorry to hear it sucked <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> I was going to go, but my expectations would have been nothing more then what you saw at the show. They advertised it all wrong by doing it on the radio at the last min. To bad I didnt have my KA-T or I could have won a whole $100 for top car. Maybe I coulda brought some of my girls and had them win the booty shakin/model contest and got another $100.
O well, at least there was something in Denver for once. |

I whent to the "show" too and would rather not have import shows than see another like that one. I agree that 85% of the cars were weak as hell but to be honest I don't even own one. Basically the best part for me was seeing the twenty inch HRE's that I mounted at Discount Tire on the SL500 in the Paragon booth, but left me wondering what happened to the twentytwo inch HRE's that I also mounted for the same customer on the same day. I loved seeing the skylines despite their condition aswell. (By the way import show doesn't mean viper or c5 corvette)
The whole contest thing was a bust with the screens working sporadically and the DJ competition was also a disapointment. As a long time fan of DJ Rectangle's records I thaught I would see a little more content from him. But I guess beggers can't be choosers. I was also wondering if anyone also attended mile high drags 2 weeks ago. I only saw two 240's out their running consistant 18's. One of which looked strangely enough like Wests own project car. Is it yours and is it for sale also noticed an add in autotrader for what looked like the same car? |
