760 RWHP Rom tuned S14 SR

I know there are a lot of high powered SRs out there running the gamete of hp levels from 500-1000 on standalones. My friend challenged me to tune his VVL-DET on my Enthalpy rom tune.

Making a load of power is obviously not the most difficult thing in the world, but doing it reliably and with good driveability is. This is his daily driver that he takes all over Florida.. wherever his job takes him. So basically it idles at 14 flat.. Cruises at 14-15 and starts up every time without as much as a hicup like a good daily should.

We had a custom 3.5" Z32 MAF adapter made to read up to 800 rwhp.
The setup consists of stock Nissan N1 cams w/ 123# supertechs on a unsleeved DET block. A1 main and head studs, Mazworx gasket, Xcessive intake plenum. 1600cc x 4 @ 3.5 bar, 2x 450s feeding a -8 rail on E80, Peakboost manifold, CAE 6262 .63, 44mm Tial, and of course a R.S. Enthalpy tune.

The setup maxed the turbo at 30 psi (ran to 34 but no more hp made). This is a almost identical build in terms of parts that Autopower Australia did 18 months ago on a Haltech which made 746 rwhp.
The power curve is intense as it spools by 4600 and does not give up till 8500. Decent power is still being made to 9500, and we even did a pull to 10K just to verify AFR and timing was good to there.

So the next hurdle to overcome on stock ecu is the 1000 rwhp mark daily driveable which I am gunning for with my personal car / sleeved 2.2 with a Full-Race manifold and a EFR 9108 and a 4" Z32 MAF. This will happen.

Nice pull! Tell him to check with Mazworxs about the 123# super tech springs. They said they had issues with them been too stiff.
