if it doesn't, i'll take it off of him for a like $500-$1000, it could be my sr20det car

Price is right. I say go for it. #### that's a PERFECT car to swap an engine into. It's even got the nicer front bumper

Ah, yes, but like tanabs said - its automatic.

Who wants a turbo charged automatic. It takes the fun out of having a sports car. Just my $0.02

When you swap an engine, you usually swap the tranny too...

Add for the price of the swap for the time and parts on installing a clutch/master cylinder and all the hassles that come with swapping into a SOHC chassis. Not what I'd pick for the swap.

i'd much rather prefer a stick, but if the price is right, i'd drive an automatic n use it for a driving car, n when i got bored of it, i'd drive my 5-speed.

I have to agree with you guys (lol). It takes a lot longer to shift with a stick than it does to shift an auto.

my friend has a camaro with 600+ hp and his is auto...he got some special kit so its faster than anyone doing manual shifting...I think if he spent the time and money getting 600 hp he knew which was better for racing(Im not saying more fun =D)

i think in the next few years, i'll pick up an old crappy s13 for cheap, and just pick it apart and start over. engine swap, empty the interior, rollcage, etc. that would be a fun garage project.

if anyone knows of an old s13 (preferably not running) near vancouver, let me know. this is gonna be fun

that last e-bay listing was funny...

paragraph #1
"but transmission doesn't know what gear its in. Right now it just backs up. A few days ago it had all the forward gears. "

paragraph #3
"The car has four new tires and seems to run OK. "
"seems to run OK. "
"seems to run OK. "

what the ####?
lol
