rattling sound on deceleration

my s14 runs smooth , just notice a rattling sound when decelerating in gear. Also does it when I get in high RPMs, it sounds like the rattling is coming from front of engine but I cant think of what it would be other than maybe the serpentine belt being loose or something, don't notice it at all performance wise.. running KA24. Any ideas anyone ,

Something is probably rubbing against the body. Only way to tell is start looking at everything close to the body of the car for rubbing spots. My intercooler piping was doing that. I could only hear it on decel, turned out I needed to put a new seal by the battery tray.

It could also be the guide on the driver side of the motor has rubbed through the plastic coating and is now rattling. Does it do it at idle? Long screw driver and your ear will help narrow down noises.
