s13 5 lug conversion ?

ok im looking for a 5 lug conversion for my s13 but im not sure which way to go. should i go with s14 spindles with 5 lugs or should i go with a conversion kit from like Ichiba? Ive done research on both but i would just like to hear some opions on both.

It's your money, what do you want to do with it?

Ichiba is not OE but it costs less, and it's new.

OE is better quality but more money, especially if bought new.

Correct. You can do the LCAs too if you want some more camber, they're 15mm longer.

Yeah Ichiba with OEM bearings is almost as good as OEM.

Because Ichiba's bearing suck.

OEM is so good in fact, I put my OLD bearings into NEW Ichiba hubs.

If you need S14 front and rear 5-lugs, let me know. I also have S14 front spindles as well. PM if you're interested.
I do not have ball joints, nor lower control arms.

S15 front brakes/suspension is identical to the JDM S14.

Has anyone tried this?

eBay Motors: SILVIA 240SX S13 89-94 5 LUG CONVERSION FRONT REAR HUB (item 190268375515 end time Jan-19-09 15:26:08 PST)

Its embarrassing posting a no name ebay product, but I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with them/ pressed OEM bearings into these?

you could drill out the front hubs for 5 lug
trim some fat off the back to make teh studs fight right.
Then replace the wheel bearings eventually.

even easier on s14
then find some 5lug rear hubs from z32 or s14

its OEM "spec" or OEM "style"

not a real nissan product per se

i have ichiba fronts and S14 rears and have not had any problems. i swapped my 4 lug stuff with a local guy so i'm not sure if my fronts had the bearing replaced or not, but they are holding up fine for me.

ppl have told me to go 5 lug with the s14 because OEM are stronger than the ichiba's or what not,
thats the only thing thats slowing me down from upgrading

You bumped a six month old thread to ask how to install a ball joint? Are you really that fucking stupid?

1) Remove old ball joint.
2) Install new ball joint.

If that escapes you, wash your mouth out with buckshot. Please.
