240sx Is Limping

So I've had my 240sx for about a month now, has an rb25. It was driving just fine until it started limping, wouldnt rev over 2500 RPM, & black smoke would come out the exhaust. I was told it could me my MAF sensor so I replaced it. It ran a lot better but would have an occasional limp or hesitation but NO black smoke. What would you guys recommend to check next ? Or does it just take a while for the ECU to update or something? Thanks.

Sounds like you should check the wiring to the maf, and the voltage it is giving off.
