s14 All about coilovers!

Alright at the moment i have a 1996 240sx that i am daily driving. from what ive heard, even being a dd, i should just go straight to coilovers. So thats my plan, money is tight so ofcourse im looking for the most bang for my buck. Im thinking of spending between 600 to 900. I want to hear everyones opinion. What coilover would you prefer in my price range and why? Anyone with a similar set up and coilovers . Let me know what you thought about the coilovers and how much you paid.

Im trying to get as much info b4 i make a purchase, thanks!

Godspeed coilovers are pretty decent. Range anywhere from 500-900 depending on where you get them at tho..

*Thought I posted last night, but it is not in here *

K-Sport, Megans, some lower tier Tanabe, and Tein Basic are all fine if you just want to lower your car. None of them will put a huge damper on funds either.

D-Max is great, and you can get them for a GREAT price from some of Zilvia's advertizers. Most will tell you that they offer you great track performance, as well as they are probably the most comfortable street coilovers. They will be more expensive than that of the brands I initially suggested, but are worth it if you are into motorsports AND daily your car.

However, if you are just wanting a cheap coilover that will drop your car, the first list I mentioned will do you that. If you can afford it, I would also suggest D-Max, like RB24_S14 mentioned as well. Next to D-Max in comfort would probably be Stance, but their price range is similar.

Good luck! Hope whatever you choose brings you joy!

the megans are really good... my friend had the 18 way damper (on a s13) i think, super stiff! drops pretty firece too! it was a comfy ride for me. really inexpensive also. pick up a new set for lil over or under a 1000$. for used u can find them for about 600. i seen ppl say they are TOO stiff, then they switch brands, then they figured that the megans were good. after the switch. (this was from megans to JiC's btw. my firend was f*kin madd!) lol this is why i say megans are good if you dont know what your getting into, u wont be dissappointed! i have a s14 myself i run "corner8" brand. i have no complaints, corner 8s are compared to stance, apex, tein... every review i read on em b4 i bought em were saying. "same as the big brand names, but just simply half the price". picked mine up for 400 used (guy who sold them to me sold em bcuz no one heard of the brand). they are 1200 brand new. there are good not so big brands out there bro. looky me! n i could dump it like there was a hurricane or raise it like theres a flood!! good luck budd!
