The kit did finally go out to paint today at Diamond Autobody, thanks to peter !



bad news is he could only get that stupid JDM colour code in water-based paint which apparently you cant alter a whole lot, so I left him my gas cover to match so... hopefully it matches.
Should be done next week between wednesday and friday.
sooooo close to party time.

Thanks for all the good words!

Washed the car for the first time since its been built.

Took dad for a spin, he was stoked.

Made me pretty satisfied feeling like I actually own a fun car again.








ft. the new daily/beater thanks to pops upgrading to something of which aged/wise people should drive.
Bumper is fixed now, sort of. haha
Fun plans will happen to this car. Fun only though !
me being in school does slow it down, though, so be patient haha.
CANT WAIT FOR PAINT TO BE READY, . !!!!!!!!!!!

Because there is no way I can post cell phone pictures of the kit on the car before I get at it with my DSLR.

hopefully this holds you over.



The colour matches as well as I expected, the paint just looks newer. I have yet to detail the origional paint which will help how it looks, bringing some depth back into it.

Thanks for doing the transportation of this HUGE kit Peter!
Head over to his thread Silvia Likes To Party and that is how racecars are built.


It was such a nerve wracking drive back to the shop haha.
