i find that most other 240sx-themed message boards load quicker.
i was permanently banned from 240sxforums for stating, in a thread on Zilvia, that they seem to coddle their shittier members. or something like that, i really don't remember/care because that site sucks shit.

one of the biggest/best feature of zilvia is the classifieds. I may be biased because this was the first s-chassis site i started on, but it just feels wierd trying to buy stuff from members of other sites.

some entertaining subjects, but I certainly don't go to Zilvia expecting to find a means to cure world hunger. I don't see how "zilvia contends in encouraged negativity at the expense of a fellow car enthusiast." Many new people on here aren't enthusiasts, many of them are trend followers, just wandering around doing as many things they can that are cool at the moment. Enthusiasts are the kind that actually care about the community enough and do things to help it grow. If some jackass is drifting on the streets doing stupid shit I've seen plenty of people give them shit for it on here. If you're the type thats like "oh it doesn't effect me" then you're part of the problem. Many of these new turds are part of the reason 240's have become such a highly profiled car, almost like hondas have become. Just because dumbasses get bashed because they are too lazy to search for information doesn't mean zilvia is a "frat house" it means many of us over the years have learned that 90% of the questions asked here have been asked before and answered. I don't need some rediculously high post count like some of these fuckers that joined last year, I've been on here since 2003 and my first few years didn't post much of anything because I was too busy researching the information I was looking for, now everyone expects to be spoonfed information because you 18 year olds have become a group of lazy fucks. I'm only 24 and some of you make me feel like I'm old as fuck, complaining about todays youth and what not. I honestly think that there are plenty of enthusiasts here on zilvia, many people that have done alot to help the community grow i.e. Bardabe Performance, Jordan Innovations, Blu808, Kognition and many others that I have left out but all have made an impact on the zilvia community. |

Posts a thread the other day asking what the fuck is the deal about buying knock off seats, why is it so bad. Mind you he's selling a legitimate original product, I wonder if hot topic stole his shirt designs and shit and put them in their stores. He would be pretty butthurt about it. Anyway he got flamed, and he deleted the thread or had an admin carpet bomb it. Regardless some Advertisers need to start using their heads when using their business accounts to post their opinion on the matter. Zilvia for me along with nico, and 240sx forums, nwnissans also (if it were not for them posting about swapping roof skins I would've never got the idea to do it myself) if it weren't for helpful people like Jeff Jordan who has now made a business out of his side business lol helping the small fries like myself. I wouldn't be where I am today with my car. Mind you I'm not a pro racer, have any desire to drift or care for bn sports or moar low. I enjoy reading stuff on this site, I enjoy flaming people on this site (yes because it makes me feel better about myself, duh), I enjoy helping people on this site with stuff others helped me with, and continue to learn new things like those awesome wheels that NZNEW has on his 240 Weds LXZ and what sizes are people taking things to the extreme so I can be lazy and base my wheel size choices off of their experience. Lots of cool things like people restoring z31's, replacement din pockets, just a high abundance of neat people and neat things as long as you're not a total fuckstick *COUGH* JTP *COUGH*

Having never been apart of some gay fraternity i wouldn't know how a frat house works. But it's pretty funny you would try to call me out about pussy, what are you 12? I'm allowed to voice my opinion, whether you like it or not, just because you fall under the stereotype I referred to in the above statement doesn't mean you need to get all butthurt about it.

Personally, the for sale section is great but I feel the tech section needs a bit more organization

I like the feel of Zilvia. Fucktards that can't search or properly form cohesive sentences with proper punctuation will get flamed. Yes, it is the internet, but does that mean the use of the English language has to be gangraped by your shitty grammar and spelling and lack of common sense?
I've met a number of amazing people here, and each one has affected me positively in one way, shape or form. Those members, to me, have given more than their share towards the community and ask for little in return. Granted, a number of members I "grew up" with no longer post because at some point, everyone just moves on with life. Zilvia, to me, used to be top dog when it came to tech a few years back, but as with everything trendy, the influx of "enthusiasts" and "drifters" have riddled the forums with so much inane bullshit, all the quality tech posts get buried. I generally hate the new members because to me, they haven't 'proven' themselves as quality posters. Just my 2 cents. |

I do feel that Zilvia should restrict newbs to certain forum areas until a specific trial period has been passed, I.E. people joining just so they can post shit for sale or posting another stupid question or video that has been reposted 10 years back, I lurked for a good amount of time and did research before I ever made my first post. Some of these people should do the same. |

Out of all the car forums that I have been on...
-zilvia -nissanroadracing.com -trackhq -bimmerforums -hondatech -club4ag -nico ...Zilvia is DEFINITELY the most entertaining. No, it's not the friendliest place on earth, but it's not supposed to be. What you noobs don't understand is that Zilvia NOW is way more nicey nice then it used to be. Some of the shit we used to say/do to eachother just wouldn't fly anymore. The tech section has suffered over the last few years, but IMO it's due to less enthusiasts and more dorifto douchebags in the community. At this point we've pretty much covered almost any relevant tech write-up that you could imagine so it's mostly retarded shit that's posted. As for off topic, who the hell cares??? I mean who really goes onto their favorite car forum to talk shit in the off topic section??? Zilvia has been great to me. I've made a lot of money, acquaintences, "business" connections, and a few friends here that I wouldn't have made otherwise. I feel that I have built myself a nice little reputation in this community and I cannot thank Zilvia.net enough for that. I have truly enjoyed my time here and plan to keep enjoying it. No small quarrels with staff or members can change that for me and none of you should let it change anything for yourselves either... |

Thankfully I get my entertainment in real life, and hardly ever visit any OT section.

FA - This was the first forum I joined and I really liked the OG members and vast amount of info available. A few years later, especially after the redesign, that forum just died and the spambots started popping up way too much.
NICO - Signed up, but never got into this forum...the layout and lack of PM urked me. 240SXforums - I frequently visited this when it first start, but now I rarely have the time to check it out. It's exploded really quick and I definitely think it's due for a redesign. Aside from my own forum, I frequently visit Zilvia for the OT and Premie section.

Being from a different country to all/most of you using Zilvia is a different atmosphere, being able to see how people style/build there cars due to local ideas is pretty awesome, something that back in the days wouldnt be possible.
I mainly use my local forum to me in Australia being NissanSilvia, but do frequent here alot thru out my day and catch up on what people are doing.. Alot of people from other countries probarbly come here for the HellaFlush pics, i just come here cause of the ideas people are putting into there cars, Over many other American forums ive used this is the most freindlist and diverse from Street Cars, to Drift Cars to Time Attack.. Its hard to find all criteria on some forums where people are open to other styles. Keep it up guys
