my ID1000 came in! 11mm tops ill be using the aem fuel rail that will need longer spacers to fit.

injector dynamics goodness!

learning how to degree my cams but 1st i need to set my valve lash .008" intake and .010" exhaust according to BC cam card. intake side is pretty much done but exhaust side was no were near specs. i had to buy a few shims in the 2mm+ range but few needed 1.91mm & 1.93mm and the thinnest nissan carry are 1.96mm.....what to do???

not much update but finally done with valve adjustment. ordered few shims frm my local nissan dealer and took at least a week to get 6 shims. then i needed more for the exhaust side so i ordered some frm nissanparts.cc actually got them quicker than my local dealer considering their in Washington.

anyways.....decided to give this shim tool i bought frm egay!supposedly its for toyotas. at 1st, i was like...damn! this thing works awesome. till i took out the cams out and noticed it was scratching the journals. polished em with 2k sandpaper hopefully it'll be fine!

i was stuck how to switch shims around quicker and not scratching the journals. so i decided to fabbed my own bucket/spring pushed-down out of 304 stainless steel flat bar.

it bolts on to one of the cam cap bolt and pretty much press down on the edge of the bucket and shims pops off easily.
