96 Eclipse seats in S13?

A buddy gave me a set of eclipse front seats, just wanting to know has anyone done this swap before? Can't find info on it anywhere. I can get a set of S14 seats cheap, but really like to eclipse seats. I am starting to think this swap is not possible without a lot of modifications , but haven't tried in my car for fitment.

make some custom seat rails, i'm sure they will fit.

if you don't feel confident enought in making them take them someone and have them make them for you.

Why would you think they wouldn't require a lot of modifications? A FWD car with a shallow tunnel vs. a RWD car with a tall tunnel is just the tip of the iceberg.

Cut off the side impact beam and bolt the rail straight to the floor.

The S Chassis has a very weird shaped floor pan and a a low roof, so yea, finding seats to fit in the car properly is difficult. Short of aftermarket seats with model specific seat rails, the only seats that I know of that will directly bolt into your S13 and line up with all 4 holes are the S14 seats.
