Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates on here.
At the beginning of the season, I finally picked up big injectors, standalone, z32 maf, etc. The standalone I picked up from a good friend of mine. Him and I are running identical setups so I just plugged it in and went from there. A retune is coming this winter but I had perfect AFR's so it wasn't too much of a concern. A few weeks back, my intake cam snapped. We are still trying to figure out exactly what happened but my season ended prematurely because of it. There is a full rebuild/build coming this winter. The plan is to do both the bottom and top end. Here's some updated pictures. I also finally put in the roll cage and painted the whole rear half of the car. I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

Car looks so good and must be the only RHD car in New Hampshire lol. Whereabouts in NH are you from? I was born in Lebanon and my Dad's side of the family is from there as well. Hope to move there one day in the future.

Thank you. Surprisingly enough, there's a couple rhd s13's in NH. I live in the southern end of the state in the Manchester/Nashua area. I love it out here.

Back in July, I was driving down the road and heard this terribly loud rapping noise under the valve cover. Pulled the cover off and the rear most cam cap on the exhaust came snapped off...The bolts snapped and the cap was jumping around under the cover. We still don't know how it happened. I ended up throwing a new head on it because my buddy had a loaded one laying around and was cheaper than sourcing a cap and then getting everything line honed. Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago. New head is on, drive the car a couple hours down south to Staggered, put about 500 miles on it all together...I'm leaving my friends house up here and turn on to the street and there was this strange loud tick sound and then the engine shut off. Pulled over to the side of the road and pull the timing cover off...Intake camshaft snapped. Right where the VTC oil galley is. Unfortunately, there was some scoring on that part of the head now so I may need to source another head if it can't be machined back to spec. The plan is to pull the motor out of the car in the next coming week or so and do a full tear down to see if there's something fucky somewhere. I'm planning on revamping the top and bottom end. It's already in the works. I'll be doing rods, pistons, cams, valves, springs, retainers, the whole 9 yards, along with addressing the common issues that RB's have with the oiling issues (crank collar and add extra head drain). I'll get some pictures posted of the snapped cam and all that and post them so you can see. It was a bummer that it broke again right at the end of the season, but, that's just the way she goes. At least I got some good driving out of it before it broke for the winter. Build it, break it, repeat. Here's a couple photos of the damage the other day when the cam snapped: I was lucky enough to have only these 2 intake valves hit
