Finally Got One!! Need some quick help!

Well, I've been after a pignose for some time.. finally got one tonight.

Grey with some clear peal on the hood and roof. Hatch spoiler has been removed and holes filled but not painted.

electric windows and sunroof

Was a daily driver forever and shows it on the inside

120k miles on body and ka-e

Car sat for about 8 months

I Flogged it when i test drove it, and looked it ALL over. was SUPER intense in my goover

It has obvious issues.. start "button", faded plastics.

It may be just me but my wiper speeds seem a bit.. slow..

K here is whats up..

On the way back from getting this car and after testing it.. the heat seemed to die off to a ... room temp sort of heat.
The Temp gauge never went above the second notch. ever.

How do I get heat..? What wold be wrong?
I can search for the rest of the stuff I need to know as it isn't as .. urgent...
But this one is kind of.. Important in the morning haha.

I'll get some pics up
Talk about how I want to build it.
Right now.. I need to sleep.

Maybe the thermostat? Coolant temperature sensor? Check all the wiring and connections.

Photobucket messed my album up for some reason... more pics below.

It does have the sunroof shade still.
Carpet is all pretty clean except for the drivers side which has never seen a floor mat..... -_-
Seats have a stain or 2 but the drivers seat isn't busted and is still FIRM. I love s13 seats.. always have.

just get the right size heater hose from the parts store to connect that little air box to your air filter box. it`ll cost less than 5 bucks. that little rubber trim around the fender is an aftermarket add on to protect the fenders from other cars` doors. it`s just glued on and can be pulled right off. the coolant reservoir is always like that. you can still buy one from the dealer i think. or you can get an aluminum one. if you are going to buy floormats, don`t buy one for an s13. buy one for an s14. the s13 floormat does not cover the spot on the driver`s side where the cat. converter hump is. i bought one for an s13 for my s13 and it does not cover the worn out spot on the driver`s side where the cat. converter hump is.

NO, LOL

in my pic, there is a small box on the right side of the air box, has a nipple on it for a vacuum line. that line runs into the air box, or looks like it should anyways...

So my drivers side marker completely crumbled apart... I needed to replace the bulb and it came out of the fender in pieces. -_-

So, did a couple things today.
Noticed that the car has probably been over a parking block...
The drivers side fender and the bumper there are kind of pushed a bit..
And the lip has NO paint on the bottom.

The wiring for my side markers was Destroyed and ShitRigged by the previous owner. The drivers side marker light wouldn't work so I dove on that.

WELL, the markers are both getting power from the drivers side with wire going form the drivers side to power the pass side. that wire is zip tied to the bumper..

When I tried to remove the side marker on the drivers side it crumbled into pieces. Hopefully I can gorilla glue that and pass inspection. The lens is fine it's just the back part. After inspection i can get my buddy that works for nissan to help me get the wiring done right.

My headlights will not go up and down. Someone I know suggested playing musical chairs with the 3 headlight relays. That didnt work. Hopefully I'll be able to track that problem down.. Any suggestions?

Got to wash the car today.
Still need to de gunk everywhere, where the hatch seals.. etc..
Still need to vacuum and clean the interior.

I really need the mounting bracket, bezel, and cubby for the stereo area.
My shift surround piece that goes all around the stereo and heat control is sanded like the Previous owner was gonna paint it. I have to decide what to do with that now...

Stalks are faded.

Despite the carpet looking brand new all through the car, there is a tear in the lump in the drivers foot well. So new carpet will be getting put in

I pulled the rear seat, under it was this GIANT cell phone computer thing. it has co-ax cable running to an antenna mount thing in the back glass and a cable ran through the pillar trim to a mic that was clipped to the visor. Cut all that shit and pulled it out. Also removed and threw away that foam/rubber mat under the back seat.

At some point the ignition stopped starting the car and there is a "start button" mounted in front of the shifter. Its just one of those getto momentary buttons from autozone. About 1.5 inches in diameter. Looks like its wired into the fuse box..... car will try to start even if the key is out of the ignition.. really need to get rid of that.

The rear wiper is loose and leaked like hell when I washed the car today. Need to get rid of that and plug that hole. (Can't I just go to like lowes and get a rubber plug for it? i seem to remember that from somewhere)

Hmm cant really think of anything else till i start cleaning it up more and tune it up.

Needs an oil change and some plugs. Tank full of 93 and some more injector cleaner and it should be ready for daily duty while i restore it.

Pics to come

Edit,
Noticed one more stupid issue.. the handle for the glove box is half broken....

Ugg, Photobucket did some weird shit to my folder, so here are some of the pics I took today.

2 "major" dents

Pulled those rubber stirps and gave it a baisic wash. Still need to goo gone the tape goo where the strips were.

Front bumper cover is showing some yellow... -_-
Considering selling my pig lip.. IDK yet though.

Where the car was ran over a parking block or something
Notice the small bend in the fender, everything above that is a little off too.. not a lot.. but enough.

Rigged up side marker wiring
Drivers side
can I assume the red/black stripe and black wires are the originals?

Run under the bumper cover

How the driver side light came out of the car

you can pick up side marker from the junk yard. last time i went there was none for the 240, but the earlier altimas are the same. check the fuses for the headlights. also there is a thread somewhere about headlight problems.

Word.
thanks
Ill search for that thread. After washing the car i noticed a HUGE leak in around the hatch.. Further inspection led me to the rear wiper. it is VERY loose in its hole, so water just runs on in.

Know where I can pick up a wiper delete. I've been searching all night.. Nothing but old threads.

I read you can get a plug from home depot.. what size and what type?

Found a hatch on car-part.com no wiper or spoiler for 200. (close enough to make it worth the drive to go get it.) Maybe they will have the side marker.
I got mine mostly glued back together and back on the car. there are a couple pieces of plastic missing on the back side but the lens never broke so itll be fine for a while..

My drivers door wont pull all the way up.. it closes but needs like another 1/8 of an inch to be pulled up tight. it is like 1mm from tripping the switch. So the car shows it has an open door all the time.

I have a pretty decent list of shit to do. most of which is dumb little shit that adds up..
Plug the hatch and any other leak
Seafoam and tune up, plugs, change oil, change coolant, put in thermostat.
Need to get my doors aligned better and fix my lights
Get a cat back to replace the busted getto fab done by the previous owner
buy my buddys strut/spring setup for cheap before he sells it elsewhere
Fix the getto shit inside the car.
