i've done the community college thing, i've done all sorts of stuff. finally, at the age of 26 i'm going to a big 10 university as a supply chain management major. somewhere along the way, you'll figure out what you really want to do.

i was a f/a-18 powerline mech for 5 years in the Marine Corps. everything pertaining to the engines and the systems supporting it was my job. i got out Dec 09 im goin to school right now. im deffinetly staying aviation. this shits awsome!

Because thats what my job just did to me today! Looks like I'm going back to school AGAIN, or looking for a new job tonight. Im gonna end up with a fucking doctorate soon.

Ohh..Thats pretty cool man because i was thinking about working in the IT field. Does the job pay okay enough to make a decent living..?? Right now i'm taking this networking class in high school by cisco its pretty fun. The thing is the some people tell me is that it can get really boring...lol

No i just put those pictures there cause just working on c130 isnt cool enough. I tell people i work on them, and they start talking about fucking modern warfare.... so i am like "sure"

These have served longer then any other airframe in the usaf. from early 1950s.

Im not avionics, i wish. im just a hydraulics journeyman.

sorry for the late reply. I totally forgot about this. lol yeah it's awesome. I started about 6mo ago and I'm making 16/hr. so it's roughly 35k per year. It's not the best, but it's great for my 1st job in the field.

yeah cisco stuff is really handy. I only know basic switch and router config stuff, like BGP and RIP protocols. But, if you're able to go and get your CCNA or Linux+ I know that is a huge bonus in people willing to hire you. lol

as far is it getting boring... yeah it'll do that If your only doing it for the money. If you do it because you really want to learn or you find it interesting you'll never get bored. I've been studying in the IT field through school and even at work I learn new stuff easily every week. There's so much info out there, so it's almost impossible to learn everything and get bored. lol shoot me a PM if you''re interested in more info^_^
