Rod knock?

The motor is a 94 KA and I'm not sure if I have a rod knock or not. The motor sounds fine at idle buts starts making a tapping noise while accelerating. I checked the oil and its not glittery and it doesn't contain metal shavings. I was thinking since I do have a timing chain rattle, maybe it's the chain slapping around? Because it sounds like the sound is coming from the head maybe. Any help would be appreciated.

pull the valve cover off quick and check. takes 10 minutes to pull it and put it back on. knock will be a deeper sound, search youtube videos of knock and compare. i would not really advise trying to continue to make the noise if it is knock. wouldnt want to damage the crank any further past machinability if it is fixable now.

Could be an exhaust leak. Check your mani & frontpipe. If you think it's the timing chain slapping, take the valve cover off & look... there will be marks (usually) on the inside of it where it is making contact.

Doesn't sound like rod knock to me.
