sohc->DOHC Where does this powered wire go?

One of two wires coming out of the connecter below it, the other is a ground, white wire. When hte battery is hooked up that wire has constant power. I am not sure where it goes? to an alternator post? that is my best guess looking at the diagram, but which post on the alternator is the right one?

Thanks guys!

i'm pretty sure it goes to the positive post of the alternator

there's a somewhat smaller black wire that bolts to the body of the alt (ground)

edit: definitely alt (+) wire

Thanks for the fast reply.

How do I identify the positive post with the alt on the motor?

its the only post on it

there's a plug (plastic), the (+) post, and then like 2 threaded holes where you use a bolt to attach ur ground

the post uses a nut to attach the + wires

lol, that would definitely blow a fuse.

The plastic insulated post is the alternator output (where the current comes out while it's charging). That should go straight to the (+) terminal on your battery (which it basically does through that plug...it's just fused). More specifically the white wire with the rubber boot on the end

attach ur ground to anywhere you wish on the body of the alternator. Doesn't matter
where. that's where the black wire coming out of the same plug (i think its the same plug as the white wire) goes

for sure.....

it didn't do this before you changed the wiring around? all i know about interior wiring is that the plug that goes straight to the + terminal on the battery to the fuse box is what powers the interior

im not sure what would cause that, but i would assume its with the wiring under the dash, not under the hood

jesus christ if its not one thing its another, now my fucking fuel pump isnt priming.

I have juice at the connecter, took the pump out and tested it, it pumps, but when the key is on, nothing.

FUCKING SUICCIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE

What does that blue relay in the front passenger fender do? two plugs going into it, its up front beside the battery. Its clicking like hell when the key is in the crank position. going to find another one now...
