bad news :(

so iwas driving on my way to work the other day and its snowing crazy outside. I am driving no more than 20mph in a 35mph zone. The roads are not salted at all. All of a sudden my car is forced to the right hand side of the road and slides into a light pole. The damage is pretty severe it starts right from where the drivers side door ends and goes to the middle of the rear quater panel wheel well. The drivers side rear quater panel window is shattered and the inside panels are cracked bad. Also the I just wanted to know how much it would run me to fix that. From what my friend tells me I have to cut out another whole area like that from another 240sx and weld it on. how much do body shops charge for that because i do not know how to do body work. Right now my cars sitting in the garage

If you broke interior parts, the wheelhouse has been pushed in. Though it is technically fixable, the labor and parts required are double what the car is worth. Part it out.

i would say that unless that chassis has sentimental value, get a shell and swap everything over.
doesnt really look like its work fixing.

You can fix that, but the car would no longer be the same, EVER! It would not be right either.

damn thats hard to hear. ive been searching for shells weres a good site to look for them? this may be a dumb question but can i get a brand new chassis custom made by nissan if i asked them to make it?

idk what made it a little better was the fact that i bought a '93 hatch for $1250 four hours after i crashed this one.
