What exactly do you guys do at meets? All i expect is a buncha people going "hey! its you! nice car!." A few "oooooo's" and "ahhhh's", then we all just stand there and eat air. A drift school or kinda event would be nice =D

do you ever go to a friends house or to a fast food place with friends, etc. and just hang out? thats what a meet is except with new people

thats the best part of the meet. Just fucking around doing nothing and geting freezed to hell. Without that we have no foundation for a meet my friend. Oh and generous helpings of krispy kreme always helps for nostalgia sake.

clairemont! krispy kreme's! tuesdays! buy one dozen get another dozen free!!! thats where clubrsx goes every week. i see them after work eating those donuts. lol.

if drifting event doesn't follow through, what do you guys think of carting at miramar speed circuit? they also have initial d ver.2 haha.

miramar speed circuit is kinda pricey. it's worth the money to learn, but I don't think a lot of people would be down to go. It costs like 23 for 10 minutes and you get around 14 laps in if you don't get caught up behind slow people.

i dunno bout u guys, but 100 laps around their parking lot would cost me a whole set of rear tires

i'd say the track is about twice as big as boomers in clairemont. i'm not that good at estimating. let's just say you can get up to 40mph on the stretch.

im accually working at speed circuit on saturday, im doing sound for a barmitsfa. or however u spell that jewish thing, they rented the whole place, and theres gonna be a tent out in the parking lot with a band.

That sounds like a good spot! If the track event doesnt go through, i think this spot would pretty cool....plus its closer to me too!

Sorry it took so long for my reply on the track event, but at this time I cant do anything to set one up. I will continue to try to do this but as of now no track event. If I can arrange somethign at a later time I will make a post for san diego people. Sorry about this but I cant do anything as of now. I will try yo make whatever kind of meet does get setup to meet some of the SD people.

right now, theres a poll up where people can decide where they want to have the meet the poll will end on 30th or the 31st. then on january 10th the meet will be held at the chosen location
