need Offset and Tire help with coils..

Ok so on monday i picked up a 89 hatch shell with a 95 KA24DE and only 71k on it for $450. (Spare block for KA-T build) The guy had already sold the tranny so i got it cheap. Found out it had 180sx seats in it so i swapped those into my coupe. When i went to pick it up i found it had aftermarket wheels.. but there is no brand name or anything on them so im guessing they are a cheap pep boy wheels or some crap. The wheels are 16's umm i would guess 7.5'' or 8'' width with Nitto 225/50/16's all around Now my car is dropped on coils and i test fit the fronts and im scared they will rub. (There is maybe like 1mm of space) Anybody got any idea of what kind of spacers i should run if any? And who the hell makes these wheels????

Shit if you just need 1mm, get 3mm spacers to get you more threads for the studs.

yeah man, i aired on the side of caution when i mentioned 5mm, because a little more clearance is always better. sure you have 1mm of clearance now, but once youre driving, things like hard braking and accelerating, as well as turns especially in inclines/declines will put more weight on your tires, making them bulge out a little more and possibly rub. but you dont want to run too large of a slip on spacer cuz itll push your wheel too far from the hub.
