Appereantly the car was a Qs with a DET swap...anyways is better to have a Qs chasis...they didnt received a lot of abuse due the DE engine.
Hey Skouki i have the same VLSD, would you be so kind to PM me or explain us the entire process that you made on your differential. Thanks in advance. Im from Guatemala and here is very expensive and hard to get an Aftermarket LSD , so the process that you made looks fantastic to me! Last edited by cespana; 02-23-2017 at 06:53 AM.. |

The car was originally a Q's. The car was swapped with a healthy sr20det and the K's aero before it was imported from Japan. small update. Picked up some battery relocate supplies. 20 Ft of 0 gauge, juction box and a 150 amp fuse breaker. Will be replacing my current battery with a odyssey pc680 that will be moved to the trunk. |

Another small update.
Came across a good deal on a used tial mvr wastegate. Sent the seller payment and had it shipped out. It came shortly after and everything looked to be in good condition. Upon further inspection, i realized it wasn't an mvr but an mvs. That being said, I had no use for it as my new manifold had the mvr flange already. Seller was nice enough to give a full refund as he wasn't aware that the wastegate was an mvs. So i am still looking for a used mvr wastegate but will most likely end up just buying new. Also decided that my blue personal wheel wasn't quite what I wanted in my interior so I bought a leather nardi classic wheel to bring the interior together. Another update, I ordered my chasebays brake line tuck kit along with fender lines to complete my ctsv brake swap. That order should be coming within the next couple weeks. Because my car is in a garage that isn't insulated and I live in Saskatchewan, I haven't been able to work on it all winter. Today was the nicest day of the year so far with a temp that hit 13 degrees celcius. It's not going to stay that nice for long so i decided to start a day project. That being the wiper motor clean haha. I removed it, wire brushed it and repainted it with some tremclaud. Turned out looking a lot better than it did so im happy. Finally, with the warmer weather we have been having, I was able to finish mounting the ctsv brackets,
changing oil (15w40 rotella), oil filter relocate installed and was able to put the car on the ground with the new wheels. Must say, these te37 look and fit far better than the xd9's. Still undecided if I want to remount the apexi dual n1 or go with something new. Old brakes setup will be for sale for anyone who wants them. The 19 year old adhesive on the valences was starting to lift so I reapplied the 3m adhesive to the back of the valences so they have a tighter fit. Chase bays brake line relocate/abs delete along with fender well lines showed up in the mail today. Will spend the weekend mounting the lines. I am still insearch of finding a BM57 brake master cylinder with 3 ports. As soon as that's found, this car will be back on the road and ready for summer.. until I find something new to buy aha Last edited by skouki; 11-30-2019 at 07:08 PM.. |

Amazing build so far! I've been considering the CTS V brake upgrade as well, I'm wondering what brakes you plan on running in the rear to compliment the braking power up front? Previous pictures looked like stock rear brakes to me.

Was able to track down a s14 240sx manual 5 speed brake booster. It is the slimmest booster of the schassis'. I decided to go this route because I had ordered a lhd bm57 and was hoping by doing this it would clear the shock tower.
Once I recieved my brake master, i found out that the third port did not come with a flare fitting so i robbed it from my abs unit that I had removed. Comparison shot of the silvia manual abs brake booster and the new one With the slim booster I was able to just barely fit the brake master on without hitting the shock tower. Because I had purchased the chasebays line kit, fitting the lines was pretty easy. I had to indent the shock tower slightly to be able to fit the banjo bolt from the brake line. While I was working in the bay I got around to relocating my battery to the trunk which helped clean up the bay a lot. Bay is finally starting to look less clustered. Next will be to remove the profec a boost controller and replace it with newer technology which isnt so bulky. |

It had been a super busy summer so there hasn't been many updates on the build. I got my hands on a tial mvr to go with my doc race manifold. I bit the bullet and ordered a new turbo so it should be here any day. I decided to go with A borg warner s257sxe with a 0,63 a/r.
Not entirely sure what my motor build will include but i had the opportunity to buy tomei solid lifters at a good price so I did. Also came across a used oem kouki wing at a good price so I also bought that. If anyone needs one, let me know as I dont have any plans for it! Now that winter is here and it is already -20 Celsius, I wont be working on my car anymore. It was time to pull out the ol summit 800 and take it for a rip. Look into their new PDC units, a lot more compact. I had them build mine. looks very similar to the picture you posted. I wish they had those PDC units out when I had mine made. |

I love when cars on this site are actual builds that highlight attention to detail in often overlooked areas and do cool shit. Please continue with this car just as you are
