Question 90 s13 with 92 ka24de crank no start

Alright well this is my first time posting on here because this is the first problem I've encountered that I couldn't figure out myself or by searching the forums. About 8 months ago I was departing on a trip from jersey to North Carolina and it was 7 degrees out with slush on the ground. About 2 hours into it the RPMs started to drop and go back up randomly, it stopped for about 5 mins and came back worse and I came to a red light and it stalled. Started it back up with very rough idle so I pulled into a gas station, it stalled again and started back up again but only for 5 mins then stalled again and would not start. Got it towed back home but had to get back to base so it had to stay at home. Just got out and want to get her running again. I've already checked the timing, it's getting fuel and white/blue spark. I've cleaned the MAF and throttle body, the injectors are all at 12-13 ohms. I have yet to check compression, waiting on the tester from my friend. But I've tried to pull codes from the ecu and the check engine light never lit up so I'm thinking it's possibly the ecu. But before I went and got another one I wanted to get your guys opinions on the situation. Kinda on a tight budget right now.
