Street Faction's “Spirit of Fortune” S13 Vert (Socal Dream Super Stock KA-T Setup)
A few months ago, I decided to turbo my KA, but only if I can get it to look as factory as possible, so no shiny piping or flashy parts. I wanted this to look 100% STOCK. Luckily, a guy on Craigslist was selling some turbo parts from an SR, so I swooped them up on my way to Formula D (Beginning of October 2010). It took me about two months to find and buy all the parts, then the build started (Beginning of December 2010). All the parts used: -T25 Turbo -SR Manifold modified to be used on a KA with Stock SR Heat Shield -370cc Injectors -SMIC w/ Intercooler Piping and OEM air duct -Greddy 3" Elbow -3" Down Pipe -S14 Upper Intake Manifold with plugged PCV Ports -PCV system modified using one check valve, tee, and oil separator -NISSPORT Oil Pressure Adapter -Mishimoto Radiator with Dual Electric Fans (painted black) -Hayden Automotive Fan Controller -R.S. Enthalpy Tuned Ecu (T25, N60, 370cc) -Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump -Blitz DD Blow Off Valve Recirculated (painted black) -S13 SR20DET OEM Intake Box -JGS Motor Mounts (rubber) -Nismo Type B FPR -Z32 Fuel Filter -NGK BKR7E Spark Plugs -Isis FPR Adapter -Greddy 36mm Radiator Temp Switch Adapter -Bosch Spark Plug Wire Set -N60 MAF -Circuit Sports Thermal Plenum Intake Gasket -Circuit Sports Magnetic Oil Drain Plug -Innovate 3833 Turbo Timer w/ Wideband -XTD Stage 3 Clutch Extras Installed -DIF Solid Aluminum Steering Bushing -Energy Suspension Polyurethane Steering ☆ ------------------ ☆ ------------------ ☆ 2009: 17x8 / 17x9 Volk/Manarays, Cusco Comp-S Coilovers 2010: 18x10 XXR 521’s, PBM Pro Coilovers, Sleeper KA-T (210 WHP) 2011: 18x10 AME TM02 Tracers, Fully Built KA-T (350 WHP) 2012: 18x10 Work Bersaglio, Fully Built KA-T (350 WHP)

if im not mistaken, i saw you car at the anaheim K1 Schassis car show/meet. correct?
yeah. there was a coupe there with KA-T, but he had aftermarket mani and piping. but they were all paint flat black, and from what he told me, cops let him pass being dumbfounded and stuff... cuz of his stock intake box an what-not, but i think yours looks much more stock than his, maybe clean up that intake piping and that zipties...other than that, it would def fool a newbie fan boy if you play your game hard. lol good shit though man.

I dig this...I get a kick out of the 'stock looking' engine bay...keeps the authorities guessing right!
Awesome on the factor manifold conversion. I will undoubtedly use a stock FWD sr manifold on my next turbo altima!

Yeah, even with my half-wrapped Megan manifold and painted pipes he let me go. This setup will fly under the radar no problem! |

^^^yeah clean coupe bro.
yours and the OPs are pretty dope set-up, considering its mostly OE stuff and under the radar type...but you did have a front mount, OP still have the sidemount..still dope though. i like.

The zip ties are all gone now, only thing i need to do is clean up the intake piping or paint the couple black. Thanks for the feedback! Good luck man. Quote:

My engine bay from the 1st K1 meet. I made my own "cooling panel" and painted it black to cover the front mount. Currently, I got rid of all those vacuum lines at the front. I might tuck my injector harness and stuff, and neaten up my fuel line stuff. |
