i'm about 100% sure it's vacuum related. i'm just not sure if i should just put the egr vacuum shit back together, or how to make it work how it is. basically it's like this. anything electrical or vacuum related to the egr, was deleted (not by me, damn kids) and now the car doesn't idle at all. likes to die, but has power.

There's diagrams that depict how you need to route the vacuum lines. I'm going to be in the same boat as you soon, I'm sure. Gonna switch manifolds, less the egr.

EDIT: Reading about the EGR removal, there's two ports that'll be left open once you're done. You do not cap them off, you're supposed to run a hose between them.

These two ports need a hose to connect them. DO NOT CAP THEM OFF. If you do not connect them with a hose you may experience idle issues due to your EVAP system not functioning properly.

Ive deleted a couple EGRs.

Did you make sure the metal pipe going to the exhaust manifold/header is plugged?

Ill try to snap a picture for you tomorrow of the vacuum lines.

If those aren't recirculated, that is your idle problem.

I agree with vacuum probs. You have an open vacuum line somewhere.

To those of you deleting S14 EGR stuff. I am need of the small tube that threads into the EGR unit and the wire harness that goes the the bpt valve.

I needs these to pass smog. Please help.

Did you get the egr block off plate? You can't expect to run it without one just saying.
